The forest industry’s products are being constantly developed. Along with research and development, market needs are giving rise not only to new paper, packaging and timber products, but also to new functionalities for these.
The products made by the forest industry five years ago are no longer on the market. To meet market needs and drive the growth of the bioeconomy, our processes and products are being continually developed. The industry is seeking to use its raw material, the forest, as efficiently as possible. One element of this is keeping down raw material consumption. We are also constantly seeking to improve quality and incorporate new functions into materials and products.
